Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to join our team. In this role, you will optimize the operational systems and processes of the company, maximizing efficiency and profitability while remaining compliant with all legal and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has an analytical mind, a deep understanding of the steel manufacturing business, and a proven track record as an Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

Comfortable with owning responsibility for day-to-day operations without detailed oversight
Building and managing a quality work force of 50 people including performance reviews and compensation
Setting KPI’s and managing to them
Implement systems, processes, and procedures to increase efficiency and profitability
Oversee warehouse operations and inventory control
Ensure the organization is compliant with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Need to have worked an ERP-driven environment
Has steel manufacturing experience
Has strong operational + profitability leadership and oversight experience
Experience effectively working with primarily-Hispanic work force
Comfortable with compensation tied to business performance
Experience making a vision come to life
Experience building and effectively managing a budget
