Carports Anywhere is seeking a hands-on, motivated Assistant Production Yard Manager to support daily operations in our production yard. This leadership role assists in overseeing fabrication workflow, yard organization, safety compliance, and production efficiency.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing or fabrication experience who is ready to step into a supervisory role.

Position Summary
The Assistant Production Yard Manager works closely with the Production Yard Manager to coordinate yard operations, supervise team members, maintain safety standards, and ensure production goals are met on time and within quality standards.
This role requires strong leadership, organization, and hands-on production experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising daily production yard operations
- Coordinate workflow and job assignments
- Monitor productivity and quality standards
- Ensure adherence to safety policies and OSHA requirements
- Support training of welders and production staff
- Maintain yard organization and material staging
- Track inventory of materials and supplies
- Assist in equipment oversight and maintenance coordination
- Address production issues and escalate when necessary
- Promote teamwork and accountability
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial production
- Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred
- Knowledge of welding and metal fabrication processes strongly preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and production schedules
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in an outdoor yard environment
- Forklift experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move materials throughout shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
